Purposes and lawful bases

Our legitimate interests

Where legitimate interests are used, the interests are running a secure and accountable service, preventing misuse, responding to genuine business enquiries, maintaining necessary service records and establishing or defending legal claims. We consider the effect on individuals before relying on this basis.

Who receives information

Information is shared only where needed for the relevant service. Stripe receives payment and transaction information for hosted payment processing and payment-status confirmation. Website/API hosting and email providers process service and message data. A delivery carrier receives the name, address, contact details and parcel information only when delivery is selected. An approved trade print provider receives the order specification and artwork only when that provider is needed to produce the job. Professional advisers, fraud-prevention providers or public authorities receive information only where necessary and lawful. Provider roles can change; contact us for the current provider and transfer information relevant to your order.

International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we use an applicable UK adequacy regulation, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism, and assess supplementary protection where required. Contact us for information about the safeguard relevant to a particular provider.

Retention

Required and optional information

Fields marked required are needed to provide the requested account, quote, order, payment-status or delivery service. Without them we may be unable to continue. Optional telephone numbers, notes and similar fields help with the request but are not used for unrelated marketing without an appropriate basis.

Where information comes from

Most information comes directly from the customer or an authorised account user. We may also receive payment status from a payment provider, delivery status from a carrier, contact details from a colleague placing an order, and fraud or security indicators from service providers.

Artwork and sensitive information

Artwork can contain personal or special-category information. Do not upload health information, identity documents, children’s information or other sensitive material unless it is genuinely required and you have authority to supply it. We restrict access to order production and support needs and investigate accidental or inappropriate uploads.

Automated decisions

The website does not currently make a solely automated decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects about a customer. Automated security checks may flag activity for review.

Your rights

  • Ask for access to personal information.
  • Ask for inaccurate information to be corrected.
  • Ask for deletion or restriction where the law applies.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Ask for portable information where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
  • Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

How to make a rights request

Use the privacy email or write to the registered office and describe the right you wish to exercise. We may request proportionate information to confirm identity and locate the records. We normally respond without undue delay and within one month, subject to any lawful extension for a complex or numerous request. If a request is refused or restricted, we explain the reason and the available complaint route.

Contact and complaints

Use the privacy email shown on the Contact page or write to the registered office. We may need to verify identity. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you remain dissatisfied.

Storage on your device and privacy choices

The website uses essential browser storage for baskets, sign-in state, checkout and payment recovery. Saved products, comparisons, account display choices and local designer recovery are optional remembered preferences and remain off until allowed through the privacy controls. No advertising or analytics trackers are installed. See the Storage and Cookies Notice for names, purposes, durations and controls.
